I have been in Dubai just under a year and a half. My family and I made the move from Australia to Dubai to gain different life experiences and to see more of the world. My husband and I have been married for almost ten years, and we have three beautiful children together aged 6, 3 and 1.

I decided to join Travel Counsellors because I wanted to have something for me. As much as I love being a stay at home mum, I really wanted to return to the workforce. Joining Travel Counsellors has given me the best of both worlds! I can work from home and still be there for my family.

Before having children, I worked in Australia as a travel consultant, and have been fortunate to travel to some beautiful places around the world. Travel is my passion and I feel lucky to have the opportunity to provide exceptional service to people of the UAE. I’m really looking forward to our adventures here.

Before recently becoming a Travel Counsellor, I had a regional operations role within a high end global concierge business but I felt totally bored in my role. I already knew about Travel Counsellors and people who worked for them in the UK so I knew as soon as I heard they were coming to Dubai, I wanted to work for them. I immediately decided that if I was offered a position I would take it as they have a fabulous reputation in the travel industry.

I joined Travel Counsellors for the sheer job satisfaction, the flexibility and to finally work for a genuinely professional travel agency. Being independent was also very important to me as I have always worked for independent agencies.
